Ten Trends Shaking Up The Way Research Is Conducted

The term used to describe a sequence of earthquakes is a swarm. That’s a pretty good descriptor for the collection of seismic changes affecting market research. There’s no single quake that’s off the Richter Scale, but rather a swarm of tremors.

Duncan Stuart and Alastair Gordon have written a terrific piece on their view of the top trends impacting global MR.

I won’t try to duplicate their work here; it’s well worth a few minutes to read it in its proper context. Their findings echo what the Research Industry Trends Monitoring Group, as well as various observers of the industry, has been saying since last year. Suffice it to say that I think they are pretty much spot on overall, and the question is whether the industry is listening and preparing?
